Saturdays with bricks
I have never, ever seen a copy of this book anywhere. Could anyone tell me anything about it?

Gary - keep looking - they do appear from time to time (in fact - check out http://www.abebooks.co.uk/, they have 6 in their listings at present).
I find it a fascinating book, part 'teach yourself bricklaying' and part biographical. As you may know, DW was an accomplished amateur bricklayer and built many walls whilst he was living at Grove House in Lymington. The house is, sadly, now gone, but one of his 'wavy' walls still survives. A few years ago, I built some wide brick steps with a herringbone pattern inside the top step. Guess where I found the tips to help me?
