The Forbidden Territory - the film

Post by Charles »

Several of you have asked me if you can have a copy of the ultra rare 1934 film that we showed at the Convention.

Good news - it (or the US cut, which is what we saw) is now available commercially.

If you go to

http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=6170484

You can buy it for USD 22.99 plus postage (USD 4.95 if you're in the U.K.).

I haven't tried this supplier myself, but they look reliable.

All good wishes !

... and the same seller is also now offering it on eBay ...

All best !

Charles, do you know if this will play on standard UK PAL player and TV? I emailed the seller but the answer was rather ambiguous....all they said was that it's a Region 0 (i.e. none-region) version. But if it's an NTSC (US) standard, there could still be a problem.

Like you, I get the impression it will play on UK machines, but I'm not totally sure.

I've ordered a copy and will let you know how I get on !

All best !

Which company has released it? There may be a UK distributor.

Well, it doesn't appear to say on the disc or box, nor on the e-bay description. But mine arrived safely enough from the USA.
