I often wondered if the Duc himself was gay. Given the way his characters treat their women sometimes you think, were/are they just repressed homosexauls :-D

These had some pretty awful covers didnÂ’t they? I donÂ’t know who did the art direction, if you could call it that, but it was pretty tasteless. No idea on what food he consumed over this period, but type A that he was you can bet it was some high cholesterol food, such a duck pate. I'm not a smoker or a much of a drinker either so hats off to him fo that.

No, they deifintely released the Lost Continent on DVD. I checked on IMDB. But, to be honest, I haven't visited the Anchor Bay site to check if it's still there.

The Lost Continent

Anchor Bay released at 97 min verison of this film, on DVD, on 27/07/04.

I don't know if it's still out there in print but you could try ordering direct or through Amazon.

I read in Clive Barkers a-z of horror that Dennis Wheatley once smoked 250 cigs, drank five magnums of champagne and still mananged to write 20 000 words all in a 48 hour period.
