It might possibly be an idea to use a Hotel with conference facilities. This way they will be geared up to Speakers Films and Catering. Any where round the M25 would make it accessable.

That's a good idea as well. I'm sure something can be done. I remember mailing Bob with the idea of a discussion area, and whilst I am certain that he already had the idea, I agree that there is a degree of pride in the forum and also our continued involvment in an excellent site. I never spoke to B...

The membership list is becoming ridiculous. Pages 16 and 17 is the only place where genuine Members have their details. I really think that Duncanpaul has the right idea. Lots of sites do this, you have to activate your membership by clicking on an link sent by E.mail. My worry is that the collectio...

Cover Art-which is best?

I mean which representation of Wheatley charactors is most accurate to your own vision. The earliest paperback representation of the Duke is pretty close to how I see him (Forbidden territitory) however the seventies re-issue of Three inquisitive people makes him look as if he has just entered Maste...

It seems they have made a DVD and here is a review, about the same opinion as mine... This was obviously made in an era when full frontal nudity in the cinema needed an excuse. "Now what can we use to get some pubics past the censor? I know! Witchcraft!", seems to be what the director thou...

Yes the whole thing was treated with respect and narrated as a documentary. The so called Black Mass was fascinating and almost moving! This may sound amazing but it was a mixture of Christian and Pagan rites none of which bore the remotest resemblance to anything in DW. The film was promoted for it...

I would hazard a guess that DW would agree with the comments above. In one of the interviews on the Letter to posterity prog. he more or less said the same thing, but I can also hear him saying that 'These people open themselves up to exploitation by a genuine black magician. I have real and concret...

Legend of the Witches is regularly on the Sky Horror channel (Why Horror?)
The row between DW and Sanders would have been 1968 or 69 Iwas about 16 and the Woodstock film was on at the Cinema. No connection but I remeber the conversation was the same day I went to see the film. Peace man!

Does anybody remember or even see the televised row between DW and Alex Sanders self styled King of the Witches? I only got to hear about it second hand. I did meet somebody who met Alex Sanders and did not have a good word to say for him, however the Film featuring Sanders Legend of the Witches was...

Interestingly enough one of the books in the library of the occult is entitled Real Magick, by Philip Bonewits (Stop Laughing!!!) It argues the case for occult powers from a completely materialistic point of view. DW points out that he does not agree with all of Bonewits ideas, however the author ar...

I would reccomend that you read some of the works by Hans Holtzer (Spelt correctly I think!) Does Witchcraft work yes it does, is it all evil no its not. Do Satanist still practice yes they do, are they dangerous for the most part no but there are a few who make the hair stand up on your head (belie...

No he's probably run out of Pimms and his Butler has been arrested for counter espionage. As a writer he ought to know the Butler did it, or in DWs case didnt do it correctly.
