Nick Managed to catch you on-line displaying another one of your talents. If I recall correctly, during conversations at the convention, you said you once did a research into old forgotten songs. Any of these from the Roger Brook era you could probably entertain us with at the next convention? Best ...

Steve, Although sited in Kidderminster in the book, the building it is based on, if not a composite, may actually exist elsewhere. However, that said, I do think you should continue, the lead given from Nick looks quite promising, and if this does not turn out to be the place perhaps some of us coul...

Not a review as such but 'The Devil is a Gentleman' is included in the Independent Information magazine's 50 best winter reads. The book appears to be getting quite a lot of publicity. Lets hope it may lead to old readers returning, like I did three years ago, or new readers taking an interest in DW...

Although not writing with a strictly black magic /occult theme. Phil Rickman does write stories with a paranormal theme, including his Rev Merrily Watkins series, where the main character is a deiverance consultant, a modern name for excorcist in the books. DW does get a passing reference in the fir...

Gary, You have raised a good question and one which was discussed at the 2009 convention. Like Alan, I have been following the posts but have not felt like I had anything interesting to say (if ever), and it was also felt that some members may not have been posting with the convention imminent, as t...

Wish to thank the organisers for the 2009 convention, another superb event enjoyed by all who attended. If more of us can go to the 2010 convention it is recommended. I know Charles and Nick have already got the ball rolling and they deserve and other members who help them deserve our support. Once ...

Charles, Good evening, I read in your post that Iwan is unfortunately not available to attend a convention until September. I don't know everyone else's thoughts, but it would be nice, if possible, if a date could be set when everyone who was at last years convention was able to attend . Assuming of...

Steve, An excellent piece of work, very interesting to read. Got me thinking where did Dennis get the name of Cardinals Folly from. Could this have anything to do with the house having some form of religious building attached to it? As far as tracking down more details of the Peacock Inn, would any ...

Think I would have to agree The Forbidden Territory would also be my choice to introduce new readers to Dennis especially as this marks the introduction of the Modern Musketeers who are my favourite DW characters.

Taking Nick's idea of having actors portray Dennis's characters a little further, I wonder what it would have been like if Gregory and the Duke had ever met for a meal possibly to discuss their various escapades during the Second World War, especially their various dealings with the occult, "St...
