Also if you check out Dennis Wheatley on kindle store (for example, via amazon) the front covers have been re-vamped with new designs.

I know it's only tinkering, but it is encouraging that someone in the publishing industry is still showing an interest in promoting DW. :smt041

And another podcast about TDRO film. This one is rather annoying, the podcast series is titled YOUR STUPID MINDS: Bad movie podcast and review. It's a US series, and in this particular episode they spend about 45 minutes ridiculing and taking the p*** out of the movie. It's annoying because it seems...

They have a discussion about why his popularity ended when he died and how hugely successful he was. Mark Gatiss acknowledges DW's importance but generally has a downer on him as an author and a p...

Most of them were quite knowledgeable and passionate about DW, Steve, so we can expect about 30 more attending this year. :smt040

Another interesting theme Phil pushed was how well connected DW was with cutting edge defence politics. He used The Ka of Gifford Hillary as an example. The novel is is clearly pro-atomic weapon as the future of UK defence policy and he heavily pushes the pro-arguments in the novel with the need for...
