I'm glad someone else likes the short stories. I love reading and re-reading them. Like Gary, I also enjoy the Ghost Hunter series and in a quaint way the Pawlett-Browne series. Yes there are a number of short stories still unpublished and maybe one day I'll get permission to add the ones I know of ...

Phil Baker has drawn to my attention that over the past week The Guardian, Observer and The Times have all carried an obituary to the writer, etc. Ronald Pearsall. OK - I'll be first! I had been warned by Phil Baker that he would come over as a bumbling idiot compared to all the other egg-heads round the table, and I got the distinct impression that DW was going to be set up again by the media as the far-right who could only be reviled by today's 'liberalists'...

I do feel we seemed not to have attracted the quantity we first hoped for - mind you, life is taken at a much more leisurely pace here. When some of the effects of the brandies have worn off maybe someone else will get creative?
