Legend of the Witches is regularly on the Sky Horror channel (Why Horror?) The row between DW and Sanders would have been 1968 or 69 Iwas about 16 and the Woodstock film was on at the Cinema. No connection but I remeber the conversation was the same day I went to see the film. Peace man! I'll order...

Who made it back?

Right, how many of us made it back to the website then?

I know that Hoyo, Nick, Alan , Charles, Jim, Stevie P & Steve Whatley made it back.

Any others around?

Apologies if I missed anybody out.

Anyone heard from Gloomysundea?

:D

Church of Satan

Here's the link. http://www.churchofsatan.com/ So sad, it's very funny though. How quaint an actual church of Satan. Found this on the web, thought it might be of interest to Wheatley fans who love the black magic series. But sadly was very disappointed as although they are the ‘official’ church o...

Hmmmm, one to re-read I think. I do enjoy the devil worshiper novels and can remember there being a fair few tense moments here. Like many of his black magic stories they can be re-read.

I've got the 'Real Magick book' in my bookcase but haven't read it yet. I'll add it to the list of books to read.!!! There's actually a copy for sale on E bay at the moment (along with 3 other Library of the occult books). It closes in 22 hours if you're interested. i.e 11.00 in the morning of the ...

I got up to Chapter 5 of the Lymington edition before giving up...I know that the past is a foreign country etc and i've no problem with reading books that aren't PC, hell I love Tintin! Just that this one got the better of me, I couldn't stomach it. The terms used and the portrayal of the black cha...

Trash Fiction website

http://www.trashfiction.co.uk/wheatley_00.html Here's a useful link it anybody is interested. The article is concerned more with the library of the occult than his output in general. But the author does take time to trash DW's output. Which is a shame as there is plenty that modern audiences can enj...

No, not at all. Thanks for the reply. If I can find any works by him I'll give them a read. Friad I'm just a skeptic and don't believe in god, the devil, heaven or hell, telekenis etc. Perhaps I just put too much belief in science to take all that seriously. But I do love black magic fiction but jus...

Aleister Crowley

Now there are a fair few references to this fella in the black magic stories of DW & his maxim, do what thou will shall be the whole of the law. If youÂ’re a skeptic like me you canÂ’t help but smile as the warnings that DW wrote in his Black magic books. I love the I never inhaled tone where he...

Or was he trying to use his psyhic powers? He could wound a man with that stare.
Lovely library though, full of handsome, leather bound books. Bet you they were worth a few bob.
