The Dennis Wheatley Museum- The Final Years

I would just like to say how much i enjoyed this section, as this would be around the time i started reading Wheatley, DW coming to my notice through of all those Sunday adverts for the Heron Editions; as a teenager I could not afford these but they spurred me on to the library to borrow the black m...

hi Jim Im not decided what kind of collector I am re Wheatley, although I have a few firsts. I have an early 10th 1000th edition of TDRO, which I have now added a facsimile dustjacket to, courtesy of the website listed in other posts. This has recently arrived and is now gracing my bookshelf. I too ...

A couple of questions for those Wheatley specialists out there...

Will this new edition count as a first, like some of the other omnibuses?

Also does anyone collect more than one edition of the same title? IE the various editons of TDRO?

Always best to look at it as a challenge Jim. I think continuity is more of an issue for fans (me included) than writers. The worlds of Doctor Who, Star Trek are other examples where continuity means so much to the fans. We fans want the world of the fiction too fit as neatly as possible, but for th...

Im trying to track down post war first editions, Lymingtons and various interesting signed copies. Just wondered what other peoples prefered collecting habits were. I recen...
